The idea was born in the minds of Vassilis Mpakas and Giorgos
Kroustalis, in Athens.
So, in 1962
with the no.
5867/62 act, the
Association was instituted.
It's first document
reports about the first meeting, organized by the
"Temporary Administrative Comity" (Ioannis
D. Pourlos, Konstantinos G. Kitsos, Nikolaos D. Oikonomou, Georgios
D. Papageorgiou) on Sunday 25th of November 1962.

In the 42 years of unfailing presence, Domianoi Association
demonstrates exceptional work.
Apart from what has contributed all these
decades, in the tightening of relations between the fellow villagers,
promotes and many times finances works in the village, has acquired a
privately-owned office, publishes, without interruption from 1979, a
newspaper and continues the effort for maintenance of relations
between its members and for assisting the village, by all means.
