Domianoi Association

We, the Domianoi Association created this website with 2 aims in mind. First and foremost, is to show in a concrete manner; the people that come from a wonderful and yet humble Greek countryside to support and give back to the village that they were raised. The village itself hangs on the wooded sides of Tymfristos Mountain terrain in Central Greece (Providence of Evrytania). Despite the dramatic reduction on population, Domianoi has been able keep its chastity and soul over the last 60 years. A village, that is a live piece of history and irrefutable witness of the constant struggle that its residents endure. Our second objective is to build a communication bridge between people that are living in Domianoi, those that left the village and live somewhere in Athens, and finally those that have left Greece entirely (USA, Canada, Australia, Cyprus etc.) and would like to continue remembering where they came from and the people they grew up with.

We are proud of Domianoi, our village, which is along one of the most beautiful landscape village along the mountainsides of Greece.

In a wonderful mountain top environment, located at the edge of the fiery woods, which is surrounded by chestnut trees and plains. The homes, built with authentic stones made out of granite, and fresh mountainous air, allowing to spread a sensual perfume aroma of chastity along the historical land.

But we don't take this splendid place, as cool as the crystal waters that roll within the countryside, just as a tourist attraction. We allow our ambitions to give back a sense of history that dates back since the 1700’s; and Greek cultural to our youths and to the people that stop by and say hello. We love it, and we support it.
