Domianoi is a Ktimenion Municipality village in Evrytania Prefecture.

It is assigned as one of the  "traditional" Greek villages (one of the three in Evrytania).

Domianoi is characterized by its stone built buildings the wooded surroundings and its historical sites as the Monastery of Panagia (Virgin Mary). Near  Domianoi is a place called Dania, which is supposed to be the site of the ancient "capital" of Evrytania, Andania.

The village hangs on the northern side of Tymfristos Mountain.

It's a perfect place to visit and offers the opportunity to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery and sports in the nature.

 

Agia Paraskevi is a district of Domianoi in about 6.5 km east. It has a few traditional stone houses and worth to visit is the little church of Agia Paraskevi, built in the 19th century and the stone priedieu.

 

The fest taking place in Domianoi, during the 15 August holiday is the "top event" for the village.

Traditionally it is a 3 days fest (14th, 15th and 16th of August) and it takes place at Domianoi square. 

It is mend to be a very good opportunity for fellow villagers and visitors to meet and entertain with traditional music.
